LONDON: Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the puppet government’s arrest of Shehbaz Sharif confirms and validates the resolution presented by All parties conference (APC) earlier this month.
In a tweet on Monday, the PML-N leader said that Shehbaz Sharif had already told that all decisions taken at the All Parties Conference would be implemented, whether he goes to jail or not.
Nawaz Sharif wrote that there should be no doubt that we will not be deterred by such tactics.
Earlier, Nawaz had called an important online party meeting after the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif by NAB.
According to sources, after the arrest, Nawaz Sharif had been in contact with several party leaders and in view of the situation, called the online meeting.
Sources said that Maryam Nawaz is likely to be given the charge of the protest that PML-N plans to launch after the meeting. Other party affairs will be handled by prominent leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal.
