FAISALABAD: Senior Vice President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Chaudhary Talat Mahmood has demanded of the authorities to shift the public office of “Ehsaas” from the congested area of Batala Colony.

In a statement issued on Thursday, he said that this office should be situated in a centrally located open and spacious place where beneficiaries of “Ehsaas” could easily have access without any hurdle.

Talat Mahmood said that the Batala Colony office is catering to the female beneficiaries from all over the district. Daily around 500-700 women visit this office which creates congestion in the area and residents of the area feel themselves entrapped in their houses, he added.

The SVP FCCI said that residents had already filed many requests but no authority is inclined to take action or redress the public grievances. He reiterated this demand and urged upon the divisional and district authorities to shift this office to a centrally located spacious place.

“It will not only facilitate the beneficiaries of “Ehsaas” but residents of Batala Colony would also take a sigh of relief,” he added.
