These include leather goods, sports equipment, surgical instruments, gloves, textiles, sportswear, martial arts uniforms and accessories, musical instruments, kitchenware, hollowware, knives, cutlery items, and military uniform badges.
Sialkot is particularly famous for manufacturing footballs, field hockey sticks, cricket gear, and boxing gloves that are used in major international sporting events, including the Olympic Games and World Cups.
The surgical instruments and sports goods industries are among the oldest industries in the region.
They have played a crucial role in strengthening the national economy while providing employment opportunities to thousands of skilled workers.
Pakistani surgical instruments from Sialkot are globally recognised for their high quality and competitive prices, enabling the industry to maintain a strong position in international markets.
Given its unique export culture and craftsmanship, experts believe there is a strong need for a dedicated business strategy for Sialkot to further enhance its role in generating foreign exchange and promoting Pakistan’s industrial strength worldwide.
Beyond business success, Sialkot’s corporate sector is also known for its strong commitment to social responsibility.
Local exporters have consistently contributed to community development on a self-help basis, which has now become a defining culture of the city.
One of the most remarkable examples of this spirit is the establishment of Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) and private airline AirSial Airline, the mega projects completed by the business community through collective self-help efforts.
