GHOTKI (SINDH): Lauding efforts of Sindh Government in tackling the Coronavirus pandemic, citizens said it is encouraging that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and his cabinet have been actively working to control Coronavirus outbreak.
Efforts being made in the province are far better as compared to the rest of provinces. In all districts of Sindh, Provincial government seems active in ensuring lockdown, locals said.
Provincial Minister of Anti-Corruption, Industry, Trade Department, Cooperative Societies Jam Ikramullah Dharijo visited Ghotki district on Tuesday to check the lockdown situation in the city.
The provincial minister visited people’s secretariat, civil hospital Ghotki and other departments and checked precautionary measures being taken at the government level.
Dharejo also visited police blockades setup to ensure lockdown in the city. He distributed masks and sanitizers among police and Rangers personnel on duty.
‘’We are battling a dangerous epidemic in difficult times, and so far, no case of coronavirus has been seen in the Ghotki district’’ he said.
He said though no case has been reported in the district, government has provided all essential medicinal equipment to the district administration to any possible eventuality.
Not only in Ghotki, but in all other districts, the government is exercising all possible measures to ensure coronavirus free Sindh, he added.
Provincial minister for anti-corruption and industries Ikramullah Dharejo also appealed to the masses to follow precautionary measures.
He asked public to support the government’s efforts and prevention measures to fight Coronavirus pandemic.
Pakistan People’s Party will be standing with the nation at this difficult time under the leadership of chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, he added.
