LAHORE: The senior leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) revealed that six months were not enough to reverse the economic debacle left by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
A meeting of the top leadership of the PML-N, (the largest partner of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) ruling alliance) comprising senior leaders of the party was chaired by Prime Minister and party president Shehbaz Shairf.
Matters pertaining to inflation, unemployment, flood-relief programs, and government’s attempts to resolve the issues were overviewed during the meeting.
Beside felicitating Shehbaz Shehbaz for being given clean chit over the allegations levelled by Daily Mail, the leadership also congratulated Rana Sanaullah for being acquitted in narcotics case. The meeting expressed resolve to use all out efforts to bring the country’s economy at track.
The participants were of the view that the dent caused to socio economic structure by PTI is not small and it will take enough time to resolve the issues country is confronting with.
