South Waziristan tribesmen demand return to their areas

TANK: The tribesmen of South Waziristan residing in Tank and Dera Ismail districts have demanded of the government to make arrangements for their return to their native areas before commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.

Talking to media persons on Saturday, Abdullah Mahsood, Gul Sher, Abdusalam and Mena Gul said that due to lockdown and ban on inter districts public transport, the tribesmen who are temporarily residing in rented houses in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan district were unable to return their native towns in South Waziristan.

The tribesmen have demanded of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan to allow them return their areas

 

“The tribesmen return to their hometowns before commencement of summer for seasonal comfort but now we were all helpless to approach to our motherland” they noted and maintained that the hardships of Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of South Waziristan will be multiplied if they could not return their homes before commencement of Ramzan ul Mubarak.

The tribesmen have demanded of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan to allow them return their areas in South Waziristan  amid ban on inter districts communication imposed to control spread of COVID-19 .
