WANA: District Youth Office in collaboration with Civil Administration Lower Waziristan organized an event for the Christian community at Wana Church in FC Camp to celebrate Christmas.
The title of the event was ‘Role of Minorities in the History of Pakistan’ and Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Ashfaq Khan was special guest and he talked in detail about the role Christian community has been playing for the country. District Youth Officer Sardar Ali Wazir was also present on this occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Ashfaq Khan also listened to the concerns of the Christian community living in the area and promised the immediate solution of the problems.
Pastor Zeeshan Alam and PTI Wing Vice President Akash Masih were present in the function besides men, women and children of Christian community.
Deputy Commissioner Ashfaq Khan also distributed Christmas gifts among the participants from Christian community and assured all possible support and cooperation for resolution of their problems.
