ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on Friday took up the hearing of presidential references against Supreme Court Judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Sindh High Court Justice K.K. Agha.
A five-member larger SJC bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa and comprising Apex Court’s Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Sindh High Court’s Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M Shaikh and Peshawar High Court’s Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed heard the case.

Meanwhile, Supreme Court Bar Council (SCBC) and Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) observed strike, boycotted all court proceedings for the day.
