KASUR: A teenage girl was killed and three women injured in jubilant aerial firing during a wedding ceremony here on Sunday.
Police said that eight people opened heavy aerial firing during a wedding ceremony held in village Tara Garh of tehsil Chunian in district Kasur.
As a result of firing, a 14-year-old girl was killed on the spot while three women sustained bullet wounds. The culprits fled the scene. The body and injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital for medico-legal formalities and the police after registering a case into the incident
started raids to arrest culprits involved in firing.
