KARACHI: Three kidnappers died in a shootout with Karachi Police when the AVCC personnel retaliated during an operation for rescuing kidnapped 10-year-old boy. The boy was rescued by the police in Karachi’s Baldia Ittehad Town on Wednesday night, Police informed.
Personnel of the AVCC engaged in a shootout with the kidnappers and arrested three, all of whom were injured. Three kidnappers injured in the firing with police and later they succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
The boy was kidnapped on June 10 from Metroville and the kidnappers had asked his family for Rs10 million in ransom.
