RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Police have arrested three kite sellers, recovered over 600 kites and metallic strings during separate actions here on Monday.
According to details, in line with the directives of the IGP Punjab, the police have accelerated actions against accused of kite selling and kites flying.
During operations conducted in New Town and Airport police stations jurisdictions in Rawalpindi, the police arrested Ubaid ur Rehman, Nahlain Abbas and Ali Ijaz besides recovered over 600 kites and three metallic strings from their possession.
Separate cases against detainees were registered at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.
