LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has declared US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the two sides of the same coin.
In a statement issued from Mansoora on Tuesday, Sirajul Haq said the US and Indian leaders were not only the enemies of the Muslims but have had no sympathy towards the humanity.
Modi was known as butcher of Gujarat, he said while referring to the Muslim genocide in Indian state when Modi was the CM. And, he added, the whole world was familiar with Trump’s remarks against Muslims.
The JI Chief said those who expected that the US or any western country would come forward to support the besieged people of Indian Occupied Kashmir were living in fool’s paradise.
Modi lied to the world when he along with US president stated that Pakistan and India would solve their problems bilaterally, he said, adding New Delhi wanted its hegemony in the region which Pakistan would never accept. India, he said, took the August 5th action in IOK to fulfill its same dream to control the region.
But, Siraj added, people of Pakistan and Kashmir were united to thwart India’s evil designs.
He said the curfew in the held valley had entered 4th weak but the people of Kashmir were standing firm against naked Indian aggression despite worst shortage of food and medicines and other needs. He asked the government to take decisive steps to support the people of Kashmir. He said a humanitarian crisis had engulfed the entire valley but the world was silent spectator.
Senator Siraj also expressed concern over deteriorating situation of the country’s economy and demanded the government take immediate steps to address the common man’s issues. He said inflation, unemployment were rising day by day which could further aggravate the crisis.
The JI Chief asked the provincial governments to push the transporters to decrease the fare of public transport and also that the free medical facilities to be ensured in all government hospitals.
