ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Pakistan has been postponed owing to Turkey’s military operation against Kurdish fighters in Syria.
According to sources on Thursday, Tayyip Erdogan was scheduled to visit Pakistan on October 23 and 24. The foreign ministry has informed about the postponement of the visit. Furthermore, the tour of the Turkish president will soon be rescheduled through diplomatic channels of both the countries.
Let it be known that Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan had confirmed his visit to Pakistan after meeting Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in the United States. (With additional input from INP)
