Two FIA officials, their abettor held in fake recruitment case

ISLAMABAD: Two officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and their accomplice have been booked in a fake recruitment case.

Reportedly, the accused personnel had fraudulently taken Rs2.6 million from two citizens for recruitment in the posts of assistant director and assistance of the FIA.

The officials had allegedly used the FIA headquarters for fake tests and interviews.

A case has been lodged against them, and fake stamps have been confiscated from their possession. Investigating officers have also found their fake signatures.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the matter is underway.
