GUJRANWALA: The police arrested two culprits involved in murder of a child after rape and throwing his body in canal in Alipur Chattha area of Gujranwala. Search for body was underway.
According to details, 12-year-old Ehtisham son of Nadeem went missing from village Pindori, Alipur Chattha police station jurisdiction some three days earlier.
The police over suspicion arrested two neighbourers of the missing children identified as Abdul Rehman and Waseem Abbas who during investigation admitted abducting and killing the child after rape and throwing his body into canal.
The police have registered a case against the detainees.
Search for the body of the child was underway till filing of the report.
