DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least two people were killed and five others including a woman were injured in separate incidents of firing and a road mishap in different areas here on Monday.
Police said that four unidentified armed men riding two motorcycles gunned down a fertilizer dealer Sardar Munawar Shah Astrana 54, near Ramak Adda in Proa police station jurisdiction in Dera Ismail Khan. The culprits fled the scene.
The second incident took place in Gilani Town, Cantt police station jurisdiction where unknown gunmen shot dead Asghar Wazir and took away his motorcycle.
Four people including Mehdi Hassan, Muzahir Ali 12, Sughra Bibi 47, and another person were injured in collision between two qingqi rickshaws at Paharpur Road near Faqirni Ziarat.
The bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas and the police after registering separate cases in all incidents at concerned police stations have started investigation. (INP)
