MARDAN, Jan 12 (INP): The police foiled a major terror bid, arrested two terrorists and recovered grenades, arms and other material here on Saturday.
The police on a tip-off regarding presence of extremists launched operation in Shergarh area of Mardan.

During operation, two terrorists were apprehended with hand grenades, four dynamites, two shotguns and safety fuses.
Police claimed that the detainees were planning terror attempt but timely action foiled the bid.
The recovered grenades, weapons were confiscated and the detained terrorists were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
