UAE president to visit Paksitan on dec 27

President of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Pakistan on Friday for an official visit, during which he is expected to hold discussions on bilateral ties and regional security.

According to officials, president Asif Ali Zardari will host Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed during the visit as arrangements for the visit have been finalised, and the UAE president will be accorded a grand welcome upon his arrival.

Talks between the two sides will focus on further strengthening cooperation in the economic, regional peace and defence cooperation, will also feature prominently in the discussions.

Officials said the visit would prove to be a significant milestone in deepening bilateral relations and advancing shared regional interests.

The UAE is one of Pakistan’s largest trading partners and a key source of remittances, with thousands of Pakistanis working in various sectors. Both countries collaborate on defence, energy and investment projects, with the UAE frequently providing financial aid and humanitarian assistance to Pakistan.
