Instead of taking any action, the international community is merely doing lip service by making statements which is an ineffective exercise, he said.

Kashmir dispute is a pending issue on UN agenda, he said, adding that there is a need to form a high- level commission to investigate the situation.

He said Kashmiris have sacrificed three generations for their freedom and now we will not wait for the last Kashmiri to die.

The silence of the United Nations, OIC and other international organisations is a matter of concern.

Dr Tabassum said that UN military observers should also publish daily reports of tragic incidents. Kashmiris have been enduring Indian oppression for 74 years.

He feared that Taliban will come to the aid of Kashmiris and then international community will wake up. He emphasized that Kashmir issue must be resolved peacefully and in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiris.
