Vegetable Prices Decline 50% Ahead Of Holy Ramazan

FAISALABAD: The prices of vegetables in Faisalabad dropped on Tuesday by up to 50 per cent in the past month. This sharp decline in vegetable prices was seen as a positive development by the local community, especially with Ramazan approaching.

According to details, potatoes and onions, which were previously sold at Rs120 rupees per kilogram, are now available at Rs60 per kilogram.

Additionally, carrots are being sold at Rs30 per kilogram, while cauliflower is priced at Rs40 per kilogram.

Residents had urged the government to bring down the prices of other essential commodities such as ghee and sugar.
