RAWALPINDI: A music competition under the name of “Voice of Potohar” started in Rawalpindi Arts Council on Monday, April 1st 2019. the final will be held on April 2nd among the 20 best singers who were picked out of a total of 180 amateurs.
Senior musicians Khalid Siddique and Anjum Shahbaz adjudged the competition. Those who take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will each get a cash prize of Rs. 20 thousand, 15 thousand and 10 thousand respectively.

Addressing the opening session of the auditions, the Director of RAC Waqar Ahmed said that the aim of the competition was to hunt new talent in the field of music.
