WANA (SOUTH WAZIRISTAN): Pakhtunkhwa Radio Wana has officially started its test transmission and people of the area have welcomed the initiative
Residents while praising this activity, have paid tributes to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details, the Information and Public Relations Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in connection with the establishment of five radio stations in order to inform the people of the tribal areas about the activities of the provincial government and to highlight regional issues.
Pakhtunkhwa Radio Station in Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan, has hold its test transmission successfully. The Radio Station has initially started its test broadcast from 30th November and regular broadcast will start from here very soon.
The people of Waziristan have thanked the provincial government and especially the Department of Information and Broadcasting for the launch of the radio station
and said that this initiative will help bring the problems of South Waziristan to the notice of the higher authorities and the people in resolution of their problems
Terming it a positive activities of the government, they said this station will provide people of the area about government activities on one side while on the other it will help people to raise voice for their uplift.
The leaders of Waziristan and the common people have expressed the hope that the activity of Pakhtunkhwa Radio
Wana will prove to be a good omen for the people of the region and that it will help in solving the problems here.
The staff of Pakhtunkhwa Radio Wana told the media that the problems of the people will be highlighted through this platform so that their solutions can be found. He further said that in the coming days, beautiful programs will be regularly presented on the topics of health, education, development and prosperity.
