SHEIKHUPURA: A wanted robber was killed while his accomplices managed to escape after a police encounter here on Friday.
According to details, the encounter took place in jurisdiction of Bhakhi police station in Sheikhupura.
In firing of police a wanted robber identified as Ishfaq alias Shaqi was killed while his cohort managed to flee from the scene.
The body of killed robbers was shifted to hospital and the police started raids to arrest the fleeing robber.
The citizens appreciated the police for its action and chanted slogans in favour of DPO Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin and SHO Bhakhi police station Umer Sheraz Ghuman.
