We must keep ourselves prepared to overwhelm our enemies in the light of the Quranic verse

And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.
Sura Anfal Ayat 60 (8:60)

And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Sura Anfal Ayat 61 (8:61)

Advertisment

But if they intend to deceive you – then sufficient for you is Allah . It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers.
Sura Anfal Ayat 62 (8:62)

Iranians retaliated with calculative precision. It has stunned the Americans. Suddenly the foul mouthed Trump has extended an olive branch to the Iranians and that also non conditional. Iran has also responded positively.

Do we deduce that the war is over?

No.

It is war gaming on both ends.

In mid of 2002, American army conducted a war game based on the actual war time scenario. The Millennium Challenge (MC02) costed $ 250 million. Ex Marine, Lt Gen Paul Van Riper (Retd) was the Red Force (Supposed enemy) Commander. Within forty eight hours of the start of the exercise, he ripped through the Blue Force (actual US Forces). The whole exercise was halted abruptly. It exposed the preparedness of US forces to its hilt. This is exactly what the Iranians have done.

I pointed out in my last article that Iran is no Afghanistan. They are not only obdurate but much better equipped also. Years of restrictions by USA and its proxy, the so-called United Nations, taught the Iranians to strive for their existence.

The sweetness of their dialect hides their monocle vision. They have been preparing for the worst. If anybody thought that Iran would out rightly attack Americans, was wrong. They will carry out attack at the specific selected targets, may be overtly or covertly.

There is another version in circulation. The originators claim that Solaimani killing and the consequent Iranian missile attack was all orchestrated. It is too farfetched. Iranians would not be that naive to get their ace general killed by Americans and then tell the Americans about the time and place of their venture so that they could take precautionary measures. I do not buy this idea being absurd. But, then politics is dirtier than the dirty.

Iranian action must have given shudders to Isreal. The olive branch by Trump may well be the time stalling action. The world has suddenly turned their back to US hegemony. This seems to be the main cause of the retraction. This dent in US pride may prompt their stooge in Oval Office to take some reckless decision prompted by the neocons like Pompeo. If that happens, then world should brace for the catastrophe. It will not be confined to regional destruction. It will be wide spread.

Pakistan has for the first time stood up to the occasion. The message to the friend and foe is loud and clear. But! The opposition leaders have started getting back to their dirty tricks of combining their personal vendetta with the national interest.

I have repeatedly pointed out that this attitude is not conducive. These are the testing times for our nation. Maturity of thought is call of the day. We must keep ourselves prepared to overwhelm our enemies in the light of the Quranic verse quoted right in the beginning of this article. Pakistan has amply demonstrated it in the near past and Iran has done it now. Abreast yourself to lead the world. Surely, you will do it.

And say, Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart

Sura Bani Israel Aayat 81 (17:81)
