When politics replaces philosophy

Martin L. Gross said “We live in a world in which politics has replaced philosophy”.  Philosophy is something about wisdom. Whereas, politics is all about interests and hypocrisy. Double standard and duplicity of the international politics has prevailed over the norms and neutrality.

Lower House of the United States had passed Uyghur Act 2019. Nancy Pelosi passed a comment on Chinese treatment with Uyghur’s, “an outrage to the collective conscience of the world”. The other statement by Republican Congress man Chris Smith, “we must say never again to the cultural genocide and the atrocities suffered by Uyghur’s and others in China”.

On the other side, more than six months lock-down and inhuman act of India in the Indian Occupied Kashmir are the things to deplore to the maximum possible extent. India is involved in human rights violations in the valley.

The relentless Indian forces are wrangling unseemly and killing innocent Kashmiri people. India has been usurping fundamental rights in Jammu and Kashmir since last 70 years. Situation after removal of Article 370 has become more pathetic in the valley.

In Indian Occupied Kashmir, the innocent people (a vast majority Muslims) have been suffering since decades. The undemocratic and inhuman act of India indicates possibility of genocide in Kashmir. There are threats of cultural, ideological and religious based genocide as well. Prevent worst situation in Jammu and Kashmir leads towards instability in the region as well.

It is known to the entire world that, India violated declarations of the UN. It is also well known that Kashmir is a Muslim majority land. India planned to resettle the Hindus in the valley. The Muslims and other minorities in India are being dominated by the “Hindutva” ideology, in which they claimed that India is only for Hindus.

Same situation is in Palestine. Israel ruthlessly killed Palestinian Muslims. The Muslims of Palestine also are suppressed by the concept of “Zionism”. Israel has developed their new colonies in Palestine and in the same way India is doing in Kashmir. Millions of Muslims have been martyred and injured but the conflict is still far from settlement.

Ironically, the world powers and the so called protector of self-determination; the UN is silent on these issues. It didn’t make any meaningful progress to resolve these issues since the last 75 years. Was it founded just to protect the interests of powerful western states?

Why the US did not pass any Act against India? India is responsible for killing millions of Muslims. Will the US take any concrete step to resolve this dispute between India and Pakistan?

In both the cases; Kashmir and Palestine, the Muslims suffered and the opponent party was supported by the USA.
