FAISALABAD: A 40-year-old woman drowned in canal water in the Jasuana Bangla, an area of Tehsil Jaranwala on Thursday.

Rescue-1122 said on Thursday,upon information, the team rushed to the site and recovered the deceased body.
The victim was identified as Nasreen Bibi, wife of Akhtar,resident of Chak No. 19-GB, Jaranwala.
The body was shifted to THQ Hospital Jaranwala in the presence of the police concerned. The police started further investigation into matter.
