KARACHI: Woman aged 50 who ‘came back to life’ after being declared dead by doctors the previous day, passed away on Thursday.
Rasheeda Bibi, who was pronounced dead by doctors at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital on Wednesday but ‘came back to life’ a few minutes later, died today (Thursday).
The hospital administration said Rasheeda had been kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she passed away. She had been suffering from paralysis.
Rasheeda had spent 45 minutes at the morgue as a corpse after doctors concluded she had died. The woman opened her eyes, indicating there was still life in her yet while she was being given ghusl (bath).
