Won’t let ‘fraudsters’ impose on country again: Nawaz Sharif

KASUR: Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday reiterated his resolve that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will not let the “fraudsters” rule the country anymore.

Addressing the public gathering in Kasur, PML-N supremo and three-time premier recounted his previous tenure, saying, “The price of roti was fixed at Rs4 in our tenure.”

He took a jibe at the opponents, saying, “These fraudsters had harmed the country. Look how much the country is witnessing ballooning inflation today.”

Nawaz Sharif said: “Where are the eggs, chickens, and bull? What about 10 million jobs and the construction of five million houses? All were frauds”.

Nawaz Sharif said: “The youth is standing with his party, which will play its role in making the country Asian Tiger again.”

He said, “Nothing would halt the prosperity in the country; I was not ousted from power.”

“Though the elections are slated to happen on February 8, the celebration of triumph is being made today.”

Few days back, Nawaz Sharif resolved to end unemployment in the country.

Addressing the public gathering in Gujranwala, he took an indirect jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “By using foul language on social media, they [PTI] claim that the youth is standing with them.”

He said, “The youth who know to respect their parents and elders are standing with me [Nawaz Sharif].”

Citing the Transparency International report, Nawaz Sharif said: “The Transparency International report said that during the PML-N’s government, corruption was prevailing less in the country.”
