Working to protect street children from COVID-19: Sarah Ahmed

LAHORE: Chairperson, Child Protection Bureau, Sarah Ahmed has said the Bureau is working for protection of street children in the country from contracting coronavirus epidemic.

“We are launching a campaign to give proper awareness to street children of the dangers of the coronavirus,” Sarah Ahmed said while talking to media here on Thursday.

“We have started work on a warning operation to make sure all children particularly these street children stay in doors to avoid contracting the COVID-19”m Chairperson Child Protection said about working of the Bureau.

Sarah Ahmed said that if these children are unprotected and contract the virus, it would be dangerous for others as well. “If they don’t heed the advice given by us, the police will take action,” she added.
