QUETTA: World community is seeing Pakistan as a profitable place to do business and are keen to invest their money here for taking benefit from emerging economy, said President Dr. Arif Alvi.
Pakistan is gaining a huge international space and attracting the world investor community to come and take advantages, the President Alvi said while addressing Balochistan Livestock Expo 2019 in Quetta on Monday.
The President said Pakistan is at the threshold of a new era in respect of economic development. “I met a number of heads of states and governments and executives during his recent visits to Japan and Baku and found them positive in their responses regarding business with Pakistan”, the president maintained.
He said there is a huge potential for investment in Pakistan in various fields. He said Balochistan is quite rich in resources, including mining, coast, fishing and livestock.
Lauding the Balochistan government for efforts to bolster the livestock sector, Arif Alvi said livestock is a comprehensive field that contributes to nutrition, poverty alleviation, rural development, and overall economic growth.
The President was of the view that Pakistan can export livestock after meeting its domestic needs.
