BEIJING: World community should have to recognize Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism to bring peace not only in region but entire world, said Geng Shuang. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson.
Pakistan has taken prominent steps to stop funding of terrorists and international community should recognize Pakistan’s efforts, the spokesman said.
“Pakistan has made all-out efforts to strengthen domestic CFT regime with visible progress. Its political will and active efforts should be recognized and encouraged by the international community. We hope FATF will offer Pakistan constructive support and assistance in its continued efforts to improve its counter-terrorism financing system and effectively fight terrorist financing”, Geng Shuang maimtained.
He expressed hope that FATF will provide support to Pakistan to deal with terrorism.
