LAHORE: A teenager who was recovered in a critical condition from the ‘torture cell’ of Lahore’s Gujjarpura police station a few days ago died in hospital on Monday.
Deceased Amjad along with nine others, was wrongfully detained by the police in a torture cell.

Police lodged a case against three police officers including Zubair, Shehzad and Imran on the complaint of Amjad’s elder brother.
However, four police officers including SHO have been suspended from their duties.
Police also started the inquiry against the policemen involved in the incident while the family of Amjad appealed higher authorities for justice.
