RAWALPINDI: A group of young people from The Remembrance Trust (TRT) organize a special event to help those in need. Led by Wasam Farooq, they want to bring back an old tradition with a modern twist – a Charitable Iftar Dastarkhwan.
Wasam Farooq, full of energy and determination, gathers his friends from TRT. “This isn’t just about food; it’s about giving back to our community and spreading love during Ramadan,” he remarked.
As the sun went down, the TRT team get busy. They turn a simple place into a warm and welcoming spot for everyone. Wasam makes sure everything is perfect, from choosing good food to arranging tables for everyone to sit together.
Asad Khan, another member of TRT, joined Wasam. “Our goal is simple: to bring people together and show kindness,” he said sincerely.
Sardar Ahmar Mushtaq, gave his advice. “In tough times, it’s important for groups like TRT to help our neighbors,” he explained wisely.
Sardar Mansoor and Taimoor Haroon, both filled with hope, are always excited to help. “This isn’t just about food; it’s about giving hope to everyone,” they said.
Dr. Nisar Faiz, an advisor to TRT, shared his thoughts. “Giving during Ramadan is part of our culture and faith. TRT is keeping these values alive,” he said wisely.
As Ramadan went on, the Iftar Dastarkhwan became a bright spot for everyone in the community. People from all backgrounds come together to share stories and blessings.
TRT’s kindness has touched many hearts during Ramadan, showing the true spirit of giving. As Ramadan came to an end, TRT members felt proud of what they achieved together.
They thanked Sardar Faheem Hamza, Sayyam Mushtaq, Sardar Ehtisham, Awais Fida, Sardar Rehan, and Shahzad Ali for their support. Their hard work made the Iftar Dastarkhwan a success, proving that unity and solidarity can make a big difference.
