From slightest changes in our surroundings to the biggest explosions happening far away in the galaxies, there are two languages that are understood widely. Yes! Language of poetry and language of silence.
Here is a piece of poetry for the readers of The News Today straight from the heart by Shehneela Mazhar. Grab a mug of coffee and let’s give it a reading.
Wind dancing and then passing through leaves
Chirping of Nightingale, waterfall and breeze
Twilight of Stars and their Shine
Lilies, Roses, Jasmines and Pine
Makes me conscious of your essence
Makes me conscious of your presence…
Drops of dew, clinging to grass’s blade
The naughty air through water when wade
Whiteness to darkness, mingling of day with night
The depth of oceans, the mountains’ height
Makes me conscious of your essence
Makes me conscious of your presence…
Tinny butterfly kissing flower’s petal
Ventilators, panes, doors when rattle
Every time raising of my hands for pray
Movement of lips for something to say
Makes me conscious of your essence
Makes me conscious of your presence…
