SWABI: Armed men gunned down a youth over personal grudge in Swabi and after commiting the crime people escaped the scene here on Tuesday, police said.
According to details, the culprits and deceased had exchanged hot words during cricket match the other day.
On Tuesday, when 17-year-old Fahd Hussain s/o Haji Hussain along with his father and a cousin came out of mosque after saying Asar prayers in Sheikhan Bachai, culprits Hamza and Ehtisham sons of Sher Aftab sprayed bullets at them.
As a result of firing, Fahd was killed on the spot while his father Haji Hussain and cousin Jihad Ali narrowly escaped. The culprits fled scene of the crime.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against culprits started raids for their arrest.
