Islamabad: The improvement of infrastructure and other facilities for the provision of quality basic education as well as non-formal education at the grassroots level has been one of the priority areas of Japanese assistance for Pakistan.
The Government of Japan has also extended assistance to provide Quality Alternative Education to out-of-school children and adolescents in Pakistan. Yusuke Shindo, Minister, Embassy of Japan in Pakistan visited Islamabad Model School for Girls and saw a Japan supported an alternative education facility and was pleased to see the child girls getting education there who were not able to learn in a formal school.
Shindo hoped that the Government of Japan’s support to non-formal education would provide an opportunity to children and adolescents to get easy access to quality education in Pakistan.
