ISLAMABAD: Former President of Pakistan and President of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Asif Ali Zardari has paid rich tribute to the brave sons of the country who sacrifice their lives for the people.
In a statement in connection with Defence Day observed on Friday, Asif Zardari said that the nation can never forget the courage and spirit of our fearless soldiers who guard our borders so that we can sleep peacefully.

He said that the PPP is always standing with the families of the shaheed jawans and that the Kashmiri brethren will come out stronger from this time of difficulty as torturing the innocent is an act of cowardice and can never last. (INP)
