Zil hajj moon not sighted, Eidul Azha to fall on July 10

KARACHI: Central Ruet-e-Hillal Committee on Wednesday said that the Zil hajj moon could not be sighted and Eidul Azha will fall on Sunday (July 10).

The final announcement in this regard was made by Central Ruet-e-Hillal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee met today (Wednesday) to sight the moon of Zil Hajj 1443 AH at the Met department’s office in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi.

The members of the committee were gathered this evening, under the chairmanship of Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad.

Officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), Pakistan Meteorological Department and Ministry of Science and Technology have attended the meeting.
