Sindh Govt issues alert for train drivers due to torrential rains

KARACHI: The provincial authorities on Tuesday have issued high alert to train drivers in the wake of torrential rains across the Sindh province.
According to details, the drivers have been directed to remain careful at two-way railway track between Kotri, Hyderabad and Tando Adam Khan.
There is a track alert from kilometer number 176 to 237, the notification stated.
On the other hand, heavy rain again lashed parts of Karachi, inundating low-lying areas and increasing chances of urban flooding.
The downpour in Korangi, Landhi, Defense, Shah Faisal Colony, Lyari and Nazimabad submerged roads and caused traffic jams creating problems for residents in traveling.
Torrential rains on Monday night also inundated parts of Hyderabad and interior Sindh.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast more rains in Karachi and other parts of country for next three days.
