After a severe collision between a speeding car and a trailer, Six people died on the spot on the National Highway near Noshero Feroze city of Sindh, sources said on Monday.
According to the initial information, the car was travelling from Larkana to Karachi at the time of the accident and all the deceased belonged to the Solangi community.
The crash was so strong that the car was completely destroyed in the accident.
Local residents after the incident immediately began rescue efforts and alerted relevant authorities.
Later, Rescue teams recovered the bodies and shifted them to a hospital in Noshero Feroze.
Hospital sources confirmed that all victims were brought in dead.
After the accident, traffic on the National Highway was briefly disrupted; however, restored later.
Police have taken the trailer into custody and have begun questioning the driver.
Officials stated that excessive speed is being considered a likely factor behind the crash, but the final cause will be confirmed once investigations are over.
