ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus continue to play havoc in Pakistan as during last 24 hours it claimed 105 more lives besides 3,946 people were infected by the deadly virus.
With 105 new deaths reported in the country the death toll surged to 3,605 and with 3,946 new infections confirmed in the country, the toll of cases jumped to 185,0034 nation-wide.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 185.034 coronavirus infections in the country as well as it reported 3,605 deaths due to COVID-19.
Sindh has crossed the 70,000 infections mark while and Punjab is not so far to attain the unfortunate mark of 70,000 mark. Sindh jumped to 71,092 cornavirus infections. Punjab jumped to 68,308 coronavirus infections. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also crossed the 20,000 mark of infections with 22,633 infections reported in the province while Islamabad Capital Territory also crossed 10,000 infections mark with 11,219 infections reported so far.
Pakistan crossed one million mark of COVID-19 tests as so far 1,126,761 coronavirus tests were conducted nation-wide out of which 24,599 during last 24 hours. 73,471 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition. Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.
According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on June 23, Tuesday 10:00am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 185,034 infections show that Sindh is at the top of unfortunate table of COVID-19 infections with 71,092 coronavirus cases followed by Punjab with.68,308 infections of the COVID-19 pandemic. The infections confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have crossed 22,633 confirmed infections, in Balochistan toll surged to 9,587, Gilgit-Baltistan reached to the toll of 1,326 infections, Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 11,219 and 869 infection reported in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The figure given by Coronavirus Dashboard in its province-wise break up regarding the total 3,695 deaths reported in the country. Punjab is at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 1,495 while Sindh with 1,103 deaths at number two. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 843, Balochistan 104, Gilgit-Baltistan 22, Islamabad Capital Territory 106 and AJK 22.
