KARACHI: Iqra University has decided to issue loyalty cards to its graduating students through which they can avail concession in fee if they pursue further studies with the institution.
The management announced this during graduation dinner for students. The students of different faculties appreciated issuing the loyalty cards to the alumni.
Through this initiative, a considerable discount will be offered on enrolments in Masters program to the alumni.
In addition, Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) of Iqra University emphasizes on corporate linkages for ensuring the continuous improvement in the employment rate of the IU graduates.
“Corporate linkage is our top priority for the university believes in guidance and support to the students throughout their lives,” remarked Director Oric, Dr. Zaki Rashidi. The university has already forged linkages with different institutions for creating job opportunities for the alumni.
The students in their testimonials expressed gratitude to their alma mater. Khalid Rafiq, an ex-alumni, who is Managing Director at Essity shared his experience as an IU gradate and how it helped him throughout his professional life. He said continuing post graduate degree from the same institution would be a wisest decision the students could ever take for enhancement of their skills.
Director, Centre for Teaching Excellence and Learning Innovation (CTELI), Dr Fatima Dar quoted resilience and hard work as the core of success in her speech. She said the students must avail the loyalty card facility the university is offering to them. She said it is the time to pay back the investment of the parents who have invested their lives in enabling their children to reach this level, therefore, they must continue their education and prove them in the shape of the positive results.
The management of Iqra University announced that many international faculty members are joining their institution. Moreover, the university will be opening new campuses at Bahria Town Karachi and Bursa Turkey.
