Officials distributed ORS packets and cold water to people affected by the heat at Guru Mandir.
People were seen using cold drinks and water to fight with the rising temperatures.
Officials have urged citizens to take precautions during the ongoing heatwave and avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun.
