Karachi: Residents of Karachi are enduring sweltering heat and high humidity, as temperatures are forecast to reach 38°C, with the feels-like temperature exceeding 40°C.
As per the Meteorological Department, the heat is likely to intensify further from tomorrow, with the impact of a heatwave expected to be more pronounced between June 10 and June 12.
temperatures could rise as high as 43 degrees Celsius during this period.
The department stated that southwest winds are currently blowing over the city, while weather conditions remain extremely hot and humid.
According to officials, the combination of rising temperatures and humidity will continue to increase heat stress across the city in the coming days.
