In the wake of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen people belonging to elite, white collar and upper middle classes all over the world rushing to the stores for grocery stocks.
We are are witnessing world economy collapsing; educational institutions and offices being closed. The citizens of developed countries are also facing the lock down-they had never imagined.
Trade and economy has been badly affected and all we care about is ourselves rather than staying united and face the situation forgetting the fact that together we can do wonders.
There’s is a drastic change in the situation of the world within some weeks. They’re buying as much food as they can and have started collecting stock of almost every daily necessity.
No one is thinking about the people who can’t afford buying much, or even can’t afford to buy for another day. Their earning does not allow them to keep a stock of basic needs even. Just because of the low wages, these people are suffering the most today.
One should have enough sense that when the demand for edible or basic needs increases, prices also increase correspondingly. Instead of, helping each other to get enough for a single day, we’re thinking of ourselves only.
We human beings have proved that by our greediness and selfishness we are full of emotions yet heartless and not deserve to be called “Ashraf-ul-Makhlukaat”, the title given by Allah to humans.
We’re just focusing on our problems and that what we’d have to go through rather than thinking about nation. Actually thinking about nation is far more difficult for people like us who do not even care about what is the situation in neighborhood.
Are they okay or not, have something to eat, are they doing well. We don’t even bother to know about this all. All we’re concerned about is ourselves. Where will we take all of this which we’re saving today for our future when it is not known that whether we’ll be able to live for that much time or not.
By increasing the prices of basic necessities we are making it difficult for the poor to buy eatables even Unfortunately, today we’ve forgotten that we’ve to die. The world has come to its end, and that “To dust we’re and into dust we shall return”.
We’re not doing what we’re sent for in this world. Today, mosques around the globe are empty or they have been closed down.
We, the so called humans are busy in our usual practice of making as much money as we can, fighting with each other rather than focusing on our deeds and the world hereafter.
