Is this lockdown for mothers too?
I think the answer would be ‘No’, for sure!
There is no ‘lockdown’ for mothers, as they have to work inside kitchen, do laundry, cooking, iron clothes, clean home and also bear toddlers’ pee poon. It is all the same what it was before.
In the middle of the curfew triggered by the pandemic, the question is how can we make our time productive for ourselves and get out of this frustrated life.
We can touch upon those issues which we had been unable to do before
I think we just need to think out of the box. For instance, due of this curfew we’re able to spend more time at home than before. We can touch upon those issues which we had been unable to do before.
We are completely isolated from our friends, family, relatives with no gatherings, functions, parties at all. It seems we have now more time to find our passion and hidden talent which perhaps has been overwhelmed by responsibilities, pressure, stress.
However, apparently it’s pretty obvious that having children around would barely let one think out of the box. But if we look around, we’ll find many mothers who are managing and handling pressure in a quite better way. We should find those determined people who could help one keep motivated and enthusiastic.
“Self-care is so important. You cannot serve from an empty vessel”
ELEANOR BROWNN: “Self-care is so important. You cannot serve from an empty vessel”. I have heard this quite often. If a mother is pursuing her career in a quite balanced way, it means she must be doing something wrong with her kids; lack of proper care for them.

She must not be giving quality time to her children which they need the most. I still couldn’t understand why don’t we put 100 percent in our child as it will make a child really a super hero.
Additionally, it’s significant to understand the human nature which requires self time, which surely applies on mothers too. This ‘self time’ can helps mothers not to be rude unnecessarily with children, listen them when they need your attention.
However, when I am saying ‘Me’ time I do not mean going out for grocery and shopping. It should be tasks that are of your interest, sharpens mind, and make you happy. Lastly, we all know that motherhood empowers us and enables us to do multiple tasks for our children and love them unconditionally.
