Pakistan, Britain agree to further enhance bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan and Britain have agreed to further enhance relations in all areas of mutual interest.

The agreement was made during a meeting of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi with British High Commissioner Thomas Drew at the Foreign Office Islamabad, today.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral and regional issues, including the 4th Review of Pakistan-UK Enhanced Strategic Dialogue, which was held in London in June 2019.

The Foreign Minister raised the issue of anti-Pakistan banners and unruly conduct of a certain group of spectators towards Pakistan cricket team and its players.

The Foreign Minister said peace and stability in Afghanistan is a shared responsibility and Pakistan would continue to support all efforts aimed at bringing peace and stability to Afghanistan.

The High Commissioner assured of his government’s full support in enhancing bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest (RP.).
