ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported zero fatalities due to coronavirus during last 24 hours, while 100 new infections were reported.
According to the latest figures appeared on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) overall new infections reported by the coronavirus during last 24 hours jumped to 100 but no death was reported across the country.
The NCOC reported that after100 new cases were confirmed the overall number of positive cases has jumped to 1,527,956 while the tally of fatalities is still on 30,369 on Monday morning.
Pakistan has conducted 18,645 coronavirus tests in the last 24 hours out of which 100 person were tested positive. The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 0.53 per cent.
According to province-wise coronavirus update given by NCOC, Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
NCOC reports stated that overall tally of the deaths has surged to 30,369 out of which 13,560 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 8,101 in Sindh, 6,324 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,023 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan and 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
1,527,956 is the toll of the overall positive cases across the country out of which 576,769 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 506,018 in Punjab, 219,460 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 135,178 in Islamabad, 43,310 in Azad Kashmir, 35,484 in Balochistan and 11,737 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 28,066,952 coronavirus tests and 18,645 in the last 24 hours. 1,494,141 patients have recovered in the country whereas 187 patients are in critical condition.
So far, 134,138,393 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 41,719 in last 24 hours. 121,234,326 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 99,125 received their second dose in last 24 hours.
The number of total administered doses has reached to 245,392,645 with 150,041 in the last 24 hours.
