ISLAMABAD: Pakistan surpassed the figure of one lack infections on Monday morning as overall toll jumped to 103,671 coronavirus infections while the death toll crossed to 2,067 round the country.
Country witnessed another worst day by reporting 4,728 confirmed infections along with 65 deaths during last 24 hours.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 103.671 coronavirus infections in the country as it reported 2,067 deaths due to COVID-19.
According to province break-up given on National Dashboard of NCOC Punjab surpassed Sindh as worst-hit province by the coronavirus pandemic with 38,903 confirmed cases the highest number along side with 683 fatalities, followed by Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 705,833 coronavirus tests and 22,650 in last 24 hours. 34,355 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition. Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.
According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on June 08, Monday 9:30am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 103,671 infections show that Punjab surpassed Sindh as the toll of the province jumped to 38,903 coronavirus cases followed by Sindh with.38,108 infections of the COVID-19 pandemic. The infections confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have crossed 13,487 confirmed infections, in Balochistan toll surged to 6,516, Gilgit-Baltistan reached to the toll of 932 infections, Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 4,979 and 361 infection reported in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The figure given by Coronavirus Dashboard in its province-wise break up regarding the total 2,067 deaths reported in the country. Sindh at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 715 as Pinjab remains at number 2 with 683 deaths. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 575 and the province has shown a little decline in fatalities. Balochistan 54 Gilgit-Baltisan 13, Islamabad Capital Territory 49 and AJK 8.
