ISLAMABAD: Death toll all over Pakistan after 68 new fatalities reported in last 24 hours, surpassed 1,838 while after 4,896 new infections were reported in last 24 hours toll crosses 89,874.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 89,874 coronavirus infections in the country as it reported 1,838 deaths due to COVID-19.
According to province break-up Sindh is still worst-hit province by the coronavirus pandemic with 34,577 confirmed cases the highest number along side with 575 fatalities, followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 638,323 coronavirus tests and 22,812 in last 24 hours. 31,198 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition. Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.
According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on June 05, Friday 9:30am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 80,463 infections show that Sindh jumped to 34,577 coronavirus cases followed by Punjab with.33,144 infections of the COVID-19 pandemic. The infections confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have crossed 11,890 confirmed infections, in Balochistan toll surged to 5,582, Gilgit-Baltistan reached to the toll of 852 infections, Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 3,544 and 285 infection reported in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The figure given by Coronavirus Dashboard in its province-wise break up regarding the total 1,835 deaths reported in the country. Punjab at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 629 as Sindh remains at number 2 with 575 deaths. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 521 and the province has shown a little decline in fatalities. Balochistan 53, Gilgit-Baltisan 12, Islamabad Capital Territory 38 and AJK 7.
